KENDUSKEAG - Peter H. Scribner, 73, died unexpectedly July 27, 2015 at his residence. He was born July 5, 1942 in Patten a son of Archer J. and Yvonne M. (Pinnette) Scribner.
Peter attended John Bapst High School for two years and graduated from Old Town High School, class of 1960, where he had served as class Vice President. He proudly served in the Air National Guard for 6 years. He was employed at Beneficial Finance in Bangor, J.L. Case in Syracuse, NY, and returned to Maine and worked for Eremita and Valley, and John Andrews Painting Contractor . He loved to putter around the yard, go fishing, going to the Salmon Club, and spending time with his grandkids, and great grandkids, and the two children he helped babysit, Ethan and Sophie.
He is survived by love of his life of 53 years Jean (Guay) Scribner; three children Michael Scribner of New Hampshire, Terry Nevells of Glenburn, and Kimberly Buck of Kenduskeag; grandchildren Nicole Bagley of Glenburn, Dustin Nevells of Holden, Bradley Buck of Old Town, Stephanie Scribner of Burnt Hills, NY, Whitney Buck of Old Town; great grandchildren Mason and Mya Bagley of Glenburn; and his furry little friend Molly the cat; his twin brother Paul Scribner and his wife Zoila of NV, and sister Barbara Runnells and her husband Dolly of Enfield.
He was predeceased by his sister Joanne King, brothers Daniel, Warren, and Wade Scribner.
