Pearl's Story

E. HODGDON - Pearl I. (Grass) London, 77, died Nov. 23, 2014 at a local hospital. She was born June 20, 1937 at Monticello, the daughter of John A. Grass, Sr. and Lona (DeLong) Grass.

Pearl was a graduate of Ricker Classical Institute and attended MCI in Pittsfield. She met and married Robert S. London on Dec. 8, 1955. They worked side by side on the family farm for 59 years. Pearl loved animals domesticated or not.

Pearl is survived by her son, Dennis London and his wife, Ammie of Hodgdon; four grandchildren, Daniel London and his wife, Nicole of Hodgdon, Matthew London and his wife, Sara of Houlton, Kylee Scott and her husband, Lael of Hodgdon; and James Toby of Hodgdon; four great-grandchildren, Jacob London, Taylor London, Alice London, and Harlee Scott; three brothers, Norman Grass and his wife, Paula of Littleton, John Grass, Jr. of Monticello, Robert Grass and his wife, Bobbi of CA; her sister, Jo-Anne Dingman and her husband, Roy of PA; two sisters-in-law, Kay Grass of Littleton, Dorothy Bowling and her husband Dick of GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 59 years Robert S. London, her brother, Luther Grass, sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Grass, Frances Grass, Marion Sutherland and her husband, Gordon.

At Pearl's request, there will be no services. Interment will be in the East Hodgdon Cemetery. A service of Dunn Funeral Home. Online condolences and guest book:
