- Paul Henry Reynolds, 86, died September 11, 2017 at his Etna residence following a long illness. He was born March 14, 1931 in Newport, a son of Dean and Theresa (Ireland) Reynolds, Sr. Paul graduated from Newport High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956.
He operated a lumber mill in Etna for many years and was a former selectman and constable for the Town of Etna. A current member of Golden Harvest Grange in Carmel, Paul was a 56 year member and past grand master of the Rebekahs, a 63 year member and past master of the IOOF, and a past grand master of the Grand Lodge, IOOF, of Maine. He was also a past Mason.
He is survived by three daughters, Brenda and husband Odice Cumbie of Glenburnie, MD, Margie Reynolds of Newport and Paula Reynolds of Etna; a brother, Nathan Reynolds of Falls Church, VA; two sisters, Martha Harmon of Bangor, and Thayes Harmon of Etna; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers- and sisters-in-law in the Andrews family.
Paul was predeceased by his wife, Roberta (Andrews) Reynolds, and a brother, Dean Reynolds, Jr.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 18th, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, with Pastor Mike Hubers officiating. Committal services will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Newport.
