BROWNVILLE - Patrick J.H. Stone, 74, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer July 3, 2016, at his home. He was born July 6, 1941, in Richmond, the son of Edward and Bernice (Russell) Stone.
In addition to Patrick's loving wife of 51 years, Virginia (Palitza) Stone, he is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Sullivan and her husband, John, of Orrington; his son, Kenneth Stone and his wife, Lesley (Smart) of Milo; his very special granddaughter, Caitlyn Wood of Orrington; two step-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Josh Blanchard of Milo; two brothers, Ronald Stone, and Walter Stone and his wife, Kaye, all of Brownville; his last surviving sister, Ginger Weston and her husband, Johnny, of Brownville Junction; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Patrick was predeceased by two sisters, Peggy Burlock, and Frances Weston.
A graveside memorial service with military honors will be conducted 1PM Saturday, July 9, 2016, at the family lot in Pinetree Cemetery, Brownville Junction, with Rev. Stephen Dean officiating. Immediately after the service family and friends are invited to continue to celebrate Patrick's life at the American Legion Building, Brownville Junction.
