Patricia's Story

BREWER - Patricia "Patty" A. Ouellette, 73, passed away January 26, 2015, surrounded by her family at a local Bangor hospital. She was born April 8, 1941, in Bangor, the daughter of Eugene F. and Edith E. (Jellison) Woodbury.

Patty worked for many years at Viners Shoe until she moved onto her business career, spending many years as a secretary for Bruce Reddy, CPA. She was able to assist her husband in running their company, Helping Hands Maintenance Service until her retirement in 2006.

Patty is survived by her daughter, Michelle Curley and husband, Thomas of Bangor; son, Jeffrey Ouellette and wife, Michelle of Eddington; five grandchildren, Heidi Toner, Jennifer Curley, Ryan Curley, Matthew Ouellette and Michael Ouellette; nine great grandchildren; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Kenny Stevenson of Hampden, Gena Houston of Bangor, and Cheryl and Richard Lizotte of Bangor; Clovis' family, Reno and Sue Ouellette of Brewer, Anita Chambers and Malcolm Melia of Monson, Gerard and Mary of Southington, Conn., Rosaire Ouellette of Bristol, Conn., Donald and Maxine Ouellette of Bristol, Conn., Roland and Sue Ouellette of Niles, Ohio, Barry McCready of New York and Annette and Wade Shippee of Kentucky; and many special friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Clovis; her brothers-in-law, John Houston, Bertrand Ouellette, Roger Ouellette, Albert Ouellette and Roger Chambers; and her sister-in-law, Gloria McCready.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 11 am to 1 pm, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St., Brewer, where a Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will follow at 1 pm. Family and friends are invited to share in conversation and refreshments at the Reception Rooms of the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith immediately following the service.
