Patricia M. Haugh, 61, died Aug. 20, 2016 at her home in Lamoine, following an extended struggle with many health issues. Pat was born Sept. 26, 1954, in Philadelphia, the daughter of Vincent and Catherine Haugh.
Educated in parochial schools in Philadelphia, Pat graduated from Kutztown University in 1976 with a degree in arts education. She then began her career as a muralist, sign painter and public school arts education teacher.
In 1985, Pat married Chuck Weber, adding the role of farm wife to her many other responsibilities. While residing in Warrington, Pa., she gave birth to their two children, Charles and Cara. The family relocated in 1998 to Lamoine, where Chuck continued farming and Pat taught art full time at Lamoine and other area schools.
Pat's artistic sensibilities and skills greatly enriched all aspects of her family's life, from home décor to signs describing flowers and produce on the Chuck's vegetable wagon at Lamoine Corner.
Pat is survived by her husband, Chuck Weber, and their two children, Charles and Cara; mother Catherine Haugh; brothers Vince Haugh and wife, Karen, Dennis Haugh and wife Tracy, Bob Haugh and wife, Deb, Ed Haugh and wife, Karen; sisters Rosemary Karabinos and husband Joe, Kathy Neumeister and husband, Terry; sister-in-law Linda Witmer and husband, David; brothers-in-law Bob Weber and wife, Mary Elaine, John Weber and wife, Brenda; and mother-in-law Lillian Weber. She was predeceased by her father, Vincent Haugh.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at 4 p.m., at the Lamoine Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. David Paul Henry officiating.
