GUERETTE AND FORT KENT - Patricia M. Guerette, 72, passed away with family by her side on May 6, 2015, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME. She was born June 30, 1942, in Daigle, ME, the daughter of Patrick and Corinne (LeBlond) Nadeau.
Patricia, fondly called Pat and Patsy by her family, was a graduate of Fort Kent Community High School. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who will be dearly missed. She had many hobbies: reading, gardening, fishing, card playing, coin collecting and making jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed family gatherings, and was very involved in her family's genealogy.
She is survived by her beloved husband, M. James Guerette, of 51 years; and six children and their spouses: James Guerette and wife, Ursula, and grandson, Jack, of Colorado, Tina DePiero and husband, Douglas, and granddaughters, Dana and Avery, and grandson, Hayden of Massachusetts, Mark Guerette of New Hampshire, Dale Guerette of Guerette, Sharon Guerette of New Hampshire and Susan Guerette of Massachusettes. She is also survived by her mother, Corinne Nadeau of Fort Kent; her sister, Frances and husband, Robert Collin, of St. Agatha; her brothers, Lincoln Nadeau of New Canada, Donald and his wife, Lyse Nadeau, Carroll Nadeau of New Canada, and Irvin Nadeau of Ontario, Canada; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Patrick Nadeau; her sister, Claudette and husband, Normand Tanguay; and sister-in-law, Joan Nadeau, wife of Lincoln Nadeau.
Friends may call at the Daigle Funeral Home Monday, May 11, from 2-4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 4 p.m. Monday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Burial will be held at a later date in the St. Euthrope Cemetery, Guerette.
