Patricia (Cyr) Collin, 93, passed away on July 30, 2016, with her family by her side at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born in Saint Basile, Canada, on October 22, 1922, the daughter of Isidore and Eva (Morneault) Cyr.
Patricia was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann and the Fort Kent Columbiettes. She loved quilting and the outdoors, and will also be remembered as a great cook.
She is survived by two sons, Leo and his wife, Diane Collin, of Englewood, FL., and Claude Collin of Fort Kent; one daughter, Cecile Collin of Nashua, NH; two grandchildren, Mitchell Collin, and Sabrina and her husband, Dan Sellers; two great-grandsons, Aiden and Greyson; and three sisters, Ursule Cyr and Clothilde Cyr, both of Saint Basile, Canada, and Sr. Giesele Cyr of Santiago, Peru. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Yvon Collin, in 2002; two infant twin daughters; and five sisters, Gertrude Cyr, Christine Ayotte, Almida Cyr, Dorilla Bedard and Theresa Couturier.
Friends may call Friday 9 to 11 a.m. August 5, 2016, until the time of service at Daigle Funeral Home, 14 East Main St., Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish in Patricia's memory may donate to the Alzheimer's Association, 383 U.S. Route One, Suite 2C, Scarborough, ME 04074. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
