Patricia's Story

LAMBERT LAKE - Patricia Irene Beach, 89, wife of the late Robert Beach, passed away June 13, 2015 at a Calais Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born Sept. 6, 1925 in Stockwell, London, England, the daughter of Walter and Isabelle Wilson.

Pat was a loving mother and grandmother to all of her family. She met her husband Robert while he was in England during World War II and came to the States at age 19 as a war bride. She enjoyed spending time with her family at family celebrations, gardening and was a member of the Vanceboro American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by five children Merrill and Edith Beach, David & Leola Beach, Robert and Marlynn Beach, and Sandra Beach, all of Lambert Lake, and Sherry Bourgoin and Michael of Lee; nine grandchildren, Corey and Patty Beach, Miranda Cookson and Dana, David Shawn and Sarah, Amy and Jason Noble, Kyra Bourgoin and Keith, Chastity Beach and Johnny, Rosalee and Jeremy Hewes, Becky Hobbs , and Robert Beach; several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Beach.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Chapel, Talmadge, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Interment will be in Vanceboro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Bethel Chapel, 62 Talmadge Road, Waite, ME 04492.
