Prospect Harbor - Orice Lee (Bunker) Stinson passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 9, 2017. She was born on October 28, 1936, in West Gouldsboro, Maine, a daughter of the late Gordon F. Bunker and the late Caroline R. (Havey) Bunker of Gouldsboro, ME. Orice graduated from Sumner Memorial High School as the class valedictorian in 1955. She was married to her beloved husband, Charles Stinson for 61 years.
Orice enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader, but what she loved more than anything, was spending time with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who love her.
Orice is survived by her husband, Charles Stinson, of Prospect Harbor, ME; daughters- Cynthia Webber and husband, Dwayne of Blue Hill, ME, and Katharyn S. Wayman and husband, Craig of Prospect Harbor, ME; brother- Wesley Bunker and partner, Judy of Deer Isle, ME; sister-Ilene Stinson and husband, Calvin of Prospect Harbor, ME; grandchildren- Matthew and Michelle Webber of Blue Hill, ME, and Craig Wayman of Manhattan, NewYork and Lynsee Wayman of Prospect Harbor, ME.
She was predeceased by both of her parents and her sister- Shelia Bunker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, if desired, may be made in her memory to: Dorcas Library, 28 Main Street, Prospect Harbor, Maine 04669. Services will be scheduled at a later time.
