Noella's Story

EAGLE LAKE AND WALLAGRASS - Noella (Dube) Pinette, 96, died peacefully September 16, 2014 at an Eagle Lake Health Care Facility. She was born December 27, 1917 in Wallagrass, the daughter of Hilaire and Hattie (Gagnon) Dube.

Noella loved cooking and gardening. She had quite a green thumb. She and her husband Paul always had a huge, productive garden, and made sure the garden was well kept up. In the Fall she was known to having picked 122 barrels of potatoes in one day; she welcomed hard work. Paul and Noella were a team. She was a super mom, loved her family more than anything in the world. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived her son, Clayton and his wife Gisele Pinette of Glenburn, Me. Two grandchildren, Stacy Lynn Colvin, and her husband Jeff, Andrea Mosley, and her husband Andrew. Four great-grandchildren; Bryant, and Dylan Colvin, Taylor and Harper Mosley. One brother, Leonard Dube of Fort Kent, Two sisters; Bernadette Dube of Fort Kent, Elizabeth Russell of Davie, FL.

In addition to her husband in 2001, Leo Paul Pinette, She is predeceased by one daughter, Alexandra in 1973. Four brothers; Rudolph, Artie, Willard, and Alsime Dube. Five sisters; Antoinette Perreault, Dorothy Sutherland, Mildred Cote, Marie Richardson and Loretta Perreault.

Friends may call Sept. 19, Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.. and 9 to 11 am Saturday at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will follow in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Wallagrass. Those who wish in her memory may donate to the St. John Vianney Renovation Fund, 26 E. Main St., Fort Kent, Me. 04743, or to a charity of one's choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
