ENFIELD - Nicholas John Frenette Cummings, 20, passed away June 19, 2015 as a result of an automobile accident. He was born March 18, 1995 in Lincoln, the son of Jason Cummings and Rebecca (Frenette) Lane.
Nicholas lived in many towns from Maine to North Carolina. Nick graduated from Penobscot Valley High School in Howland, Maine in June of 2013. Throughout his life, what mattered the most was the people who supported him, had fun with him and loved him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being "upta camp" at Endless Lake, going fast on anything with wheels and working in the concrete business with his uncle Jason Frenette. Nicholas welcomed his son, Benson into the world July 31, 2014. He loved being a father and was a great dad. Benny has a special heartwarming laugh that was reserved for his father.
Nick is survived by his fiancé, Cassandra Longfellow and their son Benson; his father Jason Cummings, Shannon Sage and sister Millie; mother Rebecca Lane and her husband Glenn and brothers Joshua, Jacob and sister Lacey; grandparents Russell and Terry Cummings, Brenda and Ron Campbell, Paula and Sheldon Frenette and Mary and Kenneth Sage; great grandparents, Ruby and Raleigh Cummings, Caroline Brown, Ethel Frenette; uncle Jason Frenette and cousins Jeremy and Jaden and Mason; several aunts, uncles and cousins including a special cousin, Evan Brown. He also leaves behind many special friends. Nick was predeceased by his great grandfather Kenneth Benson Brown. Nick was generous and donated his organs to save others.
All friends and family are welcome to attend a celebration of life on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 1:00 at the West Enfield Event Center, 105 Old County Road North, West Enfield, Maine.
