MILLINOCKET - Neal G Bulley, 73, passed peacefully in his sleep after a long illness. He was born Oct. 6th, 1943, the son of Granville Bulley and Alfreda Rodgerson Bulley.
Neal worked at the paper mill in Millinocket for 37 years. After retiring from the mill, he spent a summer fishing in Alaska and many winters playing shuffleboard in Texas. He later owned the local taxi for almost 3 years. He enjoyed spending his summers at Elsmore's Landing with his summer family. Neal was an avid hunter and fisherman before his health declined. He was known for his love of telling stories. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Kathy Fraser Bulley, son, Mark Bulley and wife Jean, of Millinocket, daughter Julie Bulley Douglas of Concord New Hampshire, son Mark White and wife Janalynn of Norridgewock;Brothers Conrad and wife Yolanda, David, Jerry and wife Gail, Leo and life partner Lorrie Fisher; and mother in law Juanita Fraser; several grandchildren and great grand children, nephews and nieces, and his two fur babies, Cinnamon and Sophie. He is predeceased by his parents. And father in law, Ronald Fraser.
Per Neal's request, there will be no funeral services. There will be a remembrance gathering at his brother Conrad's residence in Millinocket on Thursday, October 20th at 1:00 for family and friends.
