TUCSON - Nancy Oliver, 69, died peacefully, May 14, 2014, at University of Arizona Medical Center. She was born August 20, 1944, in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of David H. Oliver and Janet (Ohman) Oliver.
Nancy spent the first 13 years of her life in St. Paul, MN where she excelled in figure and speed skating. In 1958, her family moved to San Diego, Calif. Nancy especially enjoyed her high school years at Pacific High School in San Diego, where she graduated in 1961. She lived in Brewer from 1969 to 1994. In 1994, she moved to Tucson, AZ where she very much enjoyed life in the West, working on her crafts and spending time with her dog Monique.
She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, John Oliver of Pine Valley, CA and special friends, Arnold Wright of Tucson, AZ, Doris Parker of Brewer. Nancy is survived by her son, Tim Archambault and wife, Michele (Smith); three grandsons, Joseph, Thomas and Jonathan of Holden; her sister-in-law, Nadine Oliver of Pine Valley, CA; nieces and nephew.
A celebration of her life will take place later this summer in Maine with her family and friends. Donations in her name can be made to the Bangor Y where she spent many years teaching aerobics classes.
