Millard's Story

WINN - Millard P. "Peter" Clark, Jr., 66, died unexpectedly March 31, 2016, at his home. He was born August 26, 1949, in Ashland, the son of Millard Clark, Sr. and Frances (Allen) Clark.

Peter enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He was a very talented artist and skilled mechanic. He was the original "Mr Fix It". The life of the party, he was loved more than he ever realized.

He is survived by his "Everything", his loving companion, Mary Willette; his mother, Frances Clark; siblings, Dennis Clark and Charlotte, Dori Pelkey and Donnie, Pam Ogden and Reg, Rick Clark and Vickie, Vickie Munson and Reg and Julie Emery and Jerome; an uncle, Frank Allen; several nieces and nephews, who lovingly called him "Puncle Pete". He also leaves Mary's children, Danielle and Justin, Katie and Mike and Jared and Amanda; and her grandchildren, Bridget and Tyler, Ryan, Myah and Dru, whom he loved as his own; and a very special new great-grandson, Joel. He was predeceased by his father.

Friends may visit with his family from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln, where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Interment will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
