FORT KENT AND EAGLE LAKE - Mildred (Laferriere) Perreault, 97, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at a Fort Kent Health care facility on September 19, 2015. She was born in Winterville October 19, 1917 the daughter of Landor and Edith (Saucier) Laferriere.
Mildred was a member of the Eagle Lake Senior Citizen Club. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards, especially Charlamagne.
She is survived by her children; Jean Simard of Danbury, Ct., Ann Perreault of Bristol Ct. and Jim Perreault of Burlington, Ct. Nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Two brothers; Gilbert Shaw of Eagle Lake, Norman and wife Norma Laferriere of Eagle Lake, one sister, Patsy Simone of Boca Raton, FL.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ronaldo "Pete" Perreault in 1990, one son-in-law Lucien Simard, one daughter-in-law, Doris Perreault. Six siblings; Bernice, Rona, Gilman, Hubert, Maxine and Madeline.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday , September 23, and Thursday 9 a.m. until time of departure for Eagle Lake at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 11a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Eagle Lake. Committal services will follow in the parish cemetery.
