BANGOR - Michael George Zuck, 63, died March 7, 2015, and was born on November 28, 1951, the son of Florence M. and Robert K. Zuck of Madison, New Jersey.
He was a graduate of Drew University and the graduate school at the University of Maine, Orono as a member of the Botany and Plant Pathology Department. The real pleasure and work of his life he shared with his wife Gail, building and operating Everlasting Farm. He was the founding president of the Mid-Maine Greenhouse Growers Association. Following retirement he took pleasure in gardening to his heart's content and teaching amateur gardeners.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Gail Ellen (Ruhlin); stepdaughter, Stephania (Zendzian) Pistillo; son-in-law, Tony Pistillo; grandson, Anthony Pistillo; stepson, Alexander Zendzian; his fiancé, Kristen Greco; siblings, Julie Rea, David Zuck, Robert Zuck; and nieces and nephews, Jesse Zuck, Alice Revere, Daphne White, Emily Rea, Rebecca Zuck and Lillie Zuck.
