JONESPORT and MACHIAS - Michael C. Robinson left this world unexpectedly Feb. 15, 2014. He was born Dec. 20, 1988, in Machias, to Sherry Beal and Curtis Robinson.
Michael is remembered for his love for his family, and his kind heart and soul. His nature was such that he often visited the local nursing home to sit with a resident and hold her hand until she calmed. He had an amazing laugh, with smiles and grins for everyone. He had a tremendous sense of humor and crazy dance moves. He loved having fun, and enjoyed running his truck, Swamp Donkey, in the local mud runs. His current project was preparing his new mud truck, Tyke's Toy. He always said that Jeremy Wayne Beal was his idol. He worked on his mud truck for hours, and his gram will miss seeing his sweet, smiling face peeking out above its hood.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Kristen Alivia, 9, whom he loved with all his heart. He also will be sadly missed by his parents, Sherry Beal and husband, Rick, of Machias, and Curtis Robinson and girlfriend, Brenda Albee, of Jonesport; siblings, Falin Robinson, Derrick Robinson, and Brandon Beal; and stepsisters, Krystal and Katie Beal. He also leaves his nieces, Nataiya Albee, and Kyleigh Robinson; nephews, Damon and Tristan Robinson; grandparents, Curtis and Betsy Robinson and Frank and Linda Tarr; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends. He was also survived by his girlfriend, Heidi Wood. Michael was predeceased by his grandparents, Robert and Patricia Ramsdell; and his great-grandparents, Calvin and Mussette Beal, and Arthur and Arlene Robinson.
Contributions may go toward a trust fund for his daughter, Kristen Alivia, at the Machias Savings Bank, Attention: Jennifer Tuell, P.O. Box 318, Machias, ME 04654. Michael's life will be celebrated 6 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Community of Christ Church, Jonesport. For more information, contact Bragdon Kelley Funeral Home at www.bragdonkelley.com.
