Michael J Lovely, 63, died after a brief illness July 17, 2016 at his home. He was born March 2, 1953, in Caribou, the son of Wilson and Carol (Johnston) Lovely.
Mike was a graduate of Caribou High School, class of 1971. Mike worked for Potato Service and Simplot for many years. He also spend the last 25 years working on the farm, first with Drew farms, then most recently Moir Farms.
He enjoyed his time spent with family and friends. His most beloved memories are that of ice fishing and taking his children, nieces, and nephews fishing at the camp on Cross Lake. He was also an excellent welder and enjoyed spending free time tinkering in the garage.
He is survived by his daughter Wendy Lovely of Perham; his sister Tina (Madeline) Huckins and her husband Lawrence Huckins of Limestone; two grandchildren Brandon Lovely and fiance' Kacie Gethchell of Mapleton, and Anthony Lovely and his girlfriend Grace Rowland of Perham; nieces and nephews Erica Moir-Boyles and her husband Bradlee Boyles, Jonathan Moir, Luke Moir and his wife Tina Moir, Jessie Lafave and her husband Chris Lafave. One former sister-in-law Laurie Kiney, and one former brother-in-law Richard Moir. He also very much enjoyed spending time with his great nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his son Michael J Lovely II in 2010 and two brothers, Larry and Luke Lovely.
Mike will be greatly missed by his many family and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to join in a memorial service at his sister's home at 21 Access Hwy Limestone on Friday July 29th at 1:00.
