Maxine's Story

FORT FAIRFIELD AND PRESQUE ISLE - Maxine Perry, 92, wife of the late Willard Perry, died May 14, 2014 at Ocala, Florida. She was born in Fort Fairfield, June 28, 1921, the daughter of the late Fred and Ella Mae (Wiggins) Howard.

Mrs. Perry was employed as a teller at First National Bank in Fort Fairfield and Presque Isle for many years. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Presque Isle.

She is survived by her two sons, Richard Perry of Ocala Florida and Paul Perry of New Sweden; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Perry was predeceased by her husband, Willard, a son, Ronald Perry and a grandson, Ricky Perry.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. May 31, 2014 at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield, with Pastor Jim Akerson officiating. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Mrs. Perry may do so through the Jefferson Cary Foundation, Oncology Clinic, PO Box 89, Caribou ME 04736.
