- Matt lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, in Millinocket. He was born September 23, 1957, in Millinocket, the son of Edmond and Ruth (Daigle) Cyr.
He was a graduate of Stearns High School, class of 1975. Matt spent his entire life in Millinocket, where he learned the trade of masonry from his dad. In the winter months he loved to shoot pool and was a member of the Tri-Town Pool League where he had many great friends.
