Mary's Story

KINGMAN - Mary A. White, 63, passed away peacefully October 18, 2014, with her family by her side. She was born July 19, 1951, in Bangor, the daughter of Robert Spencer, Sr and Grace (LeClair) Oakes. Mary married Leland White in March of 1971. They were married 11 years and shared the love of three daughters. Mary loved to work the ticket booth at the Springfield Fair, along with several of the children's rides, for many years. She loved to be around her family and friends. Cookouts were a big favorite of hers. She also loved to spend the day at Chain Lake, visiting family while enjoying the cool air and sunshine. Mary is survived by her daughters, Arlene and her husband, Elwood Stinson, of Kingman, Brandee and her husband, Greg Keith, and Tina White and Guy Hendershot, all of Medway; a brother, Mike Spencer and his wife, Una, of Holden; a half-sister, Lisa Spencer, of Rockland; a half-brother, Randy Spencer, of Brockton, Mass.; her grandchildren, Ray Stinson and girlfriend, Kimmi, of Mattawamkeag, Eric Stinson, of Kingman, Allen White and girlfriend, Diana, of Lee, Natasha and her husband, Matthew Berry, of Lincoln, Cassandra Glidden and boyfriend, Justin, of Kingman, Ryan Stinson and girlfriend, Alyssa, of Lee, L.J. Glidden and girlfriend, Danielle, of Medway, Dakota Glidden and girlfriend, Felicia, of Glenburn and Brianna Keith, of Medway; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Owen, Falisha, Peityn, Brayden, Keagan, Naomi, Sophia-Grace, Tiffani, Brantley, Taylor-Ann, Abigail and two unborn; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Grace Oakes; her father, Robert Spencer, Sr.; and three brothers, Richard, David and Robert, Jr. Special thanks to her caregiver, Cassandra, Davita Dialysis and Lynx Transportation. A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 1, at Full Gospel Tabernacle, Lincoln with the Rev. Jack Stewart officiating.
