SEARSPORT - Martha Louise (Lockhart) Denzer Lowe, 80, of Searsport, ME, stepped over into heaven on April 30, 2014. She passed away at Woodlands of Brewer Assisted Living after a long illness of Dementia.
She was born in North Attleboro, MA, on November 20, 1933, the daughter of Martha E. (Snow) Lockhart and Vivian A. Lockhart, both deceased. She graduated from N. Attleboro High School and was a C.N.A for many years. She worked many years caring for the elderly in Rhode Island, Arizona, Georgia and Maine.
She is predeceased by her husband Edward Denzer and husband John Lowe, four brothers Donald A., David A., Edgar H. and James E.
She is survived by three sons, Edward Denzer Jr. and wife Marsha of Grand Haven MI, Paul Denzer of CA. and Allan Denzer of Nashua, NH., two brothers; Ralph Lockhart of Sacramento CA. and Charles Lockhart and wife Lois of Centralia, WA.; five sisters; Marjorie Hodson of Gansevoort, NY., Isabella Hamilton of MA., Lillian Tetley of Spring Hill, FL., Edith Lescault of St. Rose, LA and Margaret A. McNally of Searsport; and many nieces and nephews. Also three special friends, Kathy Walrad of Searsport, Peggy Downy of Arizona and Catherine Landey, a classmate, of Massachusetts.
Martha enjoyed horses, hiking and all of outdoors and wild life. She was loved by all the people she met. She blessed many people with her smile and love for people.
A celebration of life will be held 2 p.m. June 7th at Searsport Full Gospel Church, 71 Main Street, Searsport, 04974, with Pastor Mike Youngblood and Pastor Gull. In lieu of flowers, donations in Martha's memory may be made to Deancon Hospice, 304 Hancock St., Bangor, Maine 04401. Arrangements are under the care of Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
