Marjorie's Story

MEDWAY - Mrs. Marjorie M. Noddin, 98, wife of the late Lionel V. Noddin, passed away Sept 17, 2015 at a Bangor healthcare facility, after a long illness. She was born Nov 7, 1916, in Medway the daughter of John L. York and Hattie (Thompson) York.

She is survived by two children, Patty and Don Yerxa of Lowell and Paul and Diane Noddin of East Millinocket; two brothers, Ray and Priscilla York and Jack and Dawn York, and a sister Sharon Dickey, all of Medway. Marge also leaves grandchildren Peter and Peggy Noddin, Mary and Tom Morris, Howard and Roxanne Noddin, Jennifer and Matt Fortin, Paula Yerxa and Shawn Dobek, and Jeff Yerxa; and great-grandchildren, Matt, Martina, Chelsea, Michael and Allison, Kayla and fiancé Brandon Hartt, Laura and Michael; great-granddaughter Kenzie; also special niece Linda Moody Williams. In addition to her husband, Lionel, she was predeceased by her parents, siblings, Beulah, Stella, Betty, Phyllis, and Vaughn; also a great-grandson, Jacob Travis Noddin.

Per Marge's request, there will be no wake or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held. The family wishes to express gratitude Westgate Center for Rehabilitation and Alzheimer's Care, Beacon Hospice and P.C.H. C. Community Care and Geriatrics.
