- Marion L. Pelletier, 98, died peacefully March 3, 2017, at an Orono health care facility following a brief illness. She was born February 9, 1919, a daughter of Joseph and Lena (Guay) Pelletier.
She enjoyed times spent sitting on the swing at camp watching the sun go down over Pushaw Lake. She was tremendously happy there.
She is survived by daughter Lorraine Beaulieu of Old Town; son Ronald Pelletier and his wife Carolyn of Old Town; grandchildren Dean Beaulieu and his wife Kim of Brewer, Paula Beaulieu and her partner Dan Shannon of Brewer, David Beaulieu of MD, Wayne Pelletier of Old Town; great grandchildren Bryan Beaulie of Brunswick, Emily Shannon of Georgia, and Aaron Beaulieu of Brewer; brother Herbert Pelletier and his wife Gloria; sister Ruth Ann Shorette and her husband Joel; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Francis, brother Edmund, and sisters Joan Landry, Imelda Newkam, Nannette Richard, and Agnes Cyr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church, Old Town. Immediately following the mass all are invited to the Parish Hall for a light luncheon and continued fellowship. Spring burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town.
