Marion's Story

Corinth - Marion G. Adams, 94, the wife of the late Edwin H. Adams, went home to be with the Lord at the Roosevelt House in Brewer on Nov. 25, 2016, with her son and his wife by her side. She was born May 22, 1922, in Chapman, Maine, to Bruce and Velda (Akeley) Estabrook. She was a lifetime member of the Charleston Pentecostal Church and also worked as their Sunday school secretary.
Surviving are a son, Philip Adams and his wife, Juanita; her loving grandchildren, Debbie Myrick, David and his wife Donna Green, Chris Green and Paul Adams; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister Norma and husband Royce Murray of Washington, Utah; two step grandchildren, Sheree Noyes and Bill and his wife, Jen Bailey and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, David Adams, a daughter Lorraine Young; two brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call 11 a.m. - 1 p.m Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at the Charleston Pentecostal Church where services will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Matthew Ward officiating. Burial will be in the Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth. The family sends a special "thank you" to the staff at the Roosevelt house for all their love, care and support this past year. Arrangements are in care of Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth.
