Marie loved family gatherings especially the annual summer Christmas celebration at Don and Elaine's and family Thanksgiving in Freeport - her children and grandchildren feel so blessed to have all been together with her in November. She spent many wonderful winters in Seminole, Florida, with Newell. She enjoyed knitting and made countless pairs of mittens over the years, loved to read and do the daily crossword puzzle.

The family would like to thank Dr. Timothy Malyk, the staff at Redington-Fairview General Hospital and MaineGeneral Hospice for their compassionate care. A graveside committal service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, in the spring.
