Margo's Story

HERMON - Margo Clark, 62, of Hermon, grew up in Roque Bluffs. Margo lost her courageous battle with cancer at her home in Hermon on March 4th, 2015, with her family by her side.

Margo is survived by her "Love" Ronald Clark of Dixmont and her children, Lily and Kara Clark, Heather Stuart and Steph Gifford of Hermon, Phillip and Janet Moody of Levant, and Erica Clark of Dixmont. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Selena, Christopher, Anna Beth, Holly, and little Madelynn. Brothers Wayne, Ron, Dan, Alan and stepmother, Lillian, miss Margo terribly as do Margo's nieces and nephews Lisa, Chandra, Scott and Aaron. Margo also leaves the many, many friends she has acquired over her much too brief lifetime.

Margo worked for some 30 years as a Hospice CNA for Bangor Area Visiting Nurses. Margo loved her work, as well as helping people in every fashion and bringing happiness to others wherever she went.

Margo loved chasing her grandchildren, working in her garden, dancing with Ronnie, the music and friendship of "Rockin' Ron and The New Society Band" family, having fun with her many friends at "Fantasy Speedway", and especially getting grease on her nose while turning wrenches on vintage stock cars.

Margo and her family wish to express their gratitude to Dr. A. Merrill Garrett and Dr. Kurt Snyder for their care and genuine concern, as well as a deep appreciation for Dr. James Van Kirk and his special form of loving friendship and support.

Margo has requested to have her ashes spread at her birth home in Roque Bluffs (near Machias). We will honor her request on June 6th, with a celebration of life/birthday commemoration at the waterfront immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, one is encouraged to make donations to Cancer Care of Maine, or Fantasy Speedway Historical Racing Assn.
