Margaret's Story

BREWER & ORRINGTON - Margaret L. Gray, 88, passed at Brewer Center for Rehabilitation on Nov. 4, 2014. She was born Feb. 18, 1926 in Bucksport, the daughter of Charles and Beatrice O'Donnell of Bucksport. Margaret was a member of the Arbutus Grange of Surry and she loved camping and cooking.

Surviving are her sister, Eva Allen and her husband, Vincent of Bucksport; her first husband and the father of her three children, Alvertie Gray of Bucksport; her children, Carrie Boudreau and her husband, Joseph of Bucksport, Ronald Gray and his wife, Carol of Orrington and Jeannie Farrell whom she raised and loved like a daughter and her husband, Garry and Family of Verona Island; five grandchildren,; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; a sister-in-law, Polly O'Donnell and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her eldest son, David Gray, by her second husband, Norman Gray; two brothers, Howard and Austin O'Donnell both of Bucksport.

Margaret's family wishes to thank the staff of Brewer Rehabilitation & Living Center for the special care and kindness give to Margaret throughout her stay.

A graveside service will be held next spring at Marston Cemetery, Orrington at a time to be announced then by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Bangor and Brewer.
