- Lynn M. McLaughlin, 66, died unexpectedly at home December 11, 2016. She was born April 4, 1950 in Millinocket, the daughter of John J. and Emma C. (Hock) Albert.
Lynn graduated from Stearns High School in Millinocket, Class of 1968. She later went back to Husson College to obtain her Bachelor's in Business Administration with High Honors. She worked for Arthur York's Logging for many years as office manager until she retired. Lynn was a member of The Elks #1621 Millinocket and the Brewer Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, dancing and playing cards with her family & friends.
Lynn is predeceased by her parents John J. and Emma C. (Hock) Albert, brother William J. Albert, and husband Carroll W. McLaughlin. She leaves behind her son Shawn J. Smith and his companion Caroline Preston of Carmel; her two grandsons Devin Smith of Houlton and Jared Smith of Hodgdon; her two sisters Rosalie Tubbs and her husband Peter of Windham and Donna York and her husband Calvin of Millinocket. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews and a very dear and close friend Rhonda Murphy of Millinocket.
There will be a celebration of life at the Elks Lodge in Millinocket on Monday December 19th from 2pm-5pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Katahdin Area Support Group, PO Box 374, Millinocket ME 04462.
