- Lucille (Pelletier) Bouchard, 85, passed away January 10, 2017, Fort Kent. She was born in St. John, Me, January 11, 1931, the daughter of Paul and Anna (Soucy) Pelletier.
Lucille worked as a case worker for DHHS for many years, the school department, and for A.D. Soucy Company. She was very active in her community; past president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Fireman's Auxiliary, past member of the Social Justice and Peace Commission at St. Louis Catholic Church, past member of the BPW, served on the School Board for SAD #27, Fort Kent Bridge Club, which was one of Lucille's favorite pass times. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her four children: Dr. John Bouchard and wife Carolyn, their children; Nicholas Bouchard, Christopher Bouchard, and Sarah Bouchard. Dawn Self -Cooper and husband Joseph and their children; Jessica Cesal, Philip Self, Millicent Astukewicz, and Victoria Cooper. Dave Bouchard and wife Penny and their children; Whitney Bouchard and Taylor Bouchard. Sue Deprey and husband Ruben Deprey and their children; Benjamin Deprey and Elizabeth Deprey. She is also survived by three great- grandchildren; Jamison Cesal, Teagan Wendell and Maverick Bouchard and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Philip Bouchard in 2014, seven sisters; Infant Aline Pelletier, Agatha Doucette, Eloise (Wess) Daigle, Annette Wiganowski, Janet Abbott, Yvette Pelletier and Martha Madore.
Friends may call January 13, 2017, Friday, 6 to 8 p.m., and January 14, 2017, Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 11:30 a.m. at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be held in the parish cemetery.
