- Lucien J. Clavette, 87, passed away on October 14, 2016, at a Madawaska health care facility. He was born in Madawaska on September 1, 1929, son of the late Dennis and Julie (Lavertu) Clavette.
Lucien loved hunting and fishing. He was a "Jack of all trades" .... there was nothing he couldn't do. He is survived by one daughter, Lucienne Webb of Madawaska; two sons, Ronald Clavette and his wife Janice of Texas, Conrad Clavette of Massachusetts; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Tom Clavette of Frenchville; two sisters, Loretta Rossignol of Georgia, Marie Ouellette of Florida; many nieces and nephews. Lucien was predeceased by his wife Fernande (Girard) Clavette; one son, James Clavette; and fifteen siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016, at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am-9:45 a.m. on Friday before the service. For online condolences, please visit
