Louise's Story

GREEN LAKE (DEDHAM) AND BANGOR - Louise Moore passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at a Bangor nursing home. She was born January 16, 1925, in Belfast. She was the daughter of the late Freeman and Beulah (Mank) Harvey.

Louise retired from C.H. Rice Co. after many years of service. She enjoyed many outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing with her husband, Carl. She also enjoyed putting together puzzles and going to Bingo with friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her four children, Warren Rinks of Bangor, Donna Palmer and her husband, Donald, of Kentucky, Nancy King and her partner, Rick Welch, of Eastbrook and Gordon Rinks and his wife, Georgia, of Hermon; her brothers, Donald and Bruce Harvey, her stepchildren, Harry, Alice, Natalie and Donnie Moore; grandchildren, Michael Palmer and Jenny Kelly of Kentucky, Jody Varney of Veazie, Jennifer King of Bangor, Adam Rinks of Corinth and Shane Rinks of Bangor; great-grandchildren, Mikaela Palmer, Samantha Harris, Lindsey Kozar, Jonathan King, Jacob and Justin Kelly and Jackson Varney; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carl R. Moore; daughter in-law, Daralene (Rae) Rinks; brothers, Robert and Ronald; sisters, Marian, Ruth and Phyllis; and great-granddaughter, Madison Louise. We would like to give special thanks to the Staff at Westgate Center for all the care they gave Louise during her time there.

There will be a graveside service at a later date.
