LINCOLN - Lorenzo A Grieco, 66, husband of Alycia (Pacewicz) Grieco, died July 4, 2015 at a Lincoln Health Care Facility. He was born February 23, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Pasquale and Hilda (Consorti) Grieco.
Lorenzo loved his church and was very active at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lincoln. He achieved Cursillo and was very active in the movement. He was also a 4th degree Knight and was President of the Parish Council for 20 years. He also loved politics and was a lifelong Republican. Lorenzo loved to cook, taught cooking classes at The Ronald McDonald House and prepared many meals at the Bangor homeless shelter. Nothing pleased him more than cooking for others.
In addition to his wife, Alycia, he is survived by a son, Marco Grieco and his wife, Melissa; a daughter, Alycia Jacqueline Grieco; a brother, Pasquale Grieco and his wife, Kristen; a grandson, Elliott Grieco; his Godson Vincent Barna; and a special cousin, Roseann Scotillo. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Carmela Hall.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. August 1, at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. Myles Cyr officiating. Those who wish may sign an online guest register and leave written condolences at www.clayfuneralhome.com
