BANGOR AND OLD TOWN - Linnie, 87, passed away on May 11, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born January 22, 1928, the daughter of Raymond and Mary (Norwood) Carter in Bass Harbor Maine. She worked in fish factories in Bass Harbor and Southwest Harbor. She was a big supporter of the St. Joseph and St. Labree's Indian Schools and always contributed to different veterans organizations. She also taught Sunday School at The Indian Island Church.
She is survived by sons Everett and wife Lillian, Edward, Rick and wife Anita, and Walter and Cindy; daughter Alice and husband Mike of Indiana; twenty five grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews and very special friends Richard Sweet, Nanci Loring Jones, and Cassie Lunt.
She was predeceased by her husband Everett L. Loring Sr.; siblings "Buster" Davis, Rebecca Torrey, Raymond Jr., Alice, and Beatrice Carter; and special friend Jayne Pelletier Loring.
