Lillian's Story

SACO - Lillian (St. Germain) Plourde of Saco and formerly of Caribou, passed away on Tuesday February 25th, 2014 at Evergreen Manor in Saco. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, February 28th at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco. Her burial will be held on Monday, May 19th at 12 noon in the Old Holy Rosary Cemetery in Caribou Maine.

She was born in Millinocket on February 26, 1925, a daughter of Henri and Modest (Ouellette) St. Germain. Lillian married Alberic D. Plourde on August 17, 1944 and who predeceased her in 2005. She is survived by her three daughters and her three sons: Sr. Linda Mae Plourde, p.m. (Congregation of the Presentation of Mary) in Biddeford Pool; Rev. James Plourde of Madawaska; Fay Anderson of Hampden; Allen Plourde and his wife, Diane, of St. Agatha; Roger Plourde of Saco; and Lisa Cyr and her husband, Jay, of Old Orchard Beach. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
