FORT KENT - Larry Bouley, 68, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 10, 2016 at a Fort Kent Health Care Facility. Larry was born in Fort Kent, October 22, 1947 the son of Lucien and Annette (Paradis) Bouley.
He served in the US Army and the National Guard. Larry lived in Virginia over 35 years before moving to Maine. He was a member of the American Legion Post #28 in Triangle, VA. Larry loved the outdoors, especially the Shenandoah River, camping, boating, fishing and spending time with family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by five siblings: Rodney and wife Gloria Bouley of Fort Kent, Brenda and husband Joel Gagnon of Wallagrass, Michael Bouley of Sebago Lake, Susan Niehoff of North Berwick, Me. Alan and wife Susan Bouley of Fort Kent. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Teresa, they shared many years together spending time with her children and grandchildren where he was affectionally known as "Poppy" he took care of her through her long struggle with cancer.
Friends may call 9 am Thursday, April 14, 2016 until time of service at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with full military honors 10 am Thursday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be held in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Larry's memory to the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, 194 E. Main St. Fort Kent, Me. 04743. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
