Lance's Story

Lincoln - Lance Keegan Springer, 29, passed away Oct 8, 2016, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Jan 25, 1987, in Derby, Conn., the son of Wade Tolman and Kim Springer. Lance had a great sense of humor, was outgoing and loved everyone. He had a great loyalty and love for family and friends and loved sports.
He is survived by his father Wade Tolman; his mother Kim Springer and her significant other Jon Whitney; five brothers Michael Springer, Steven Springer, Brandon Tolman, Aaron Tolman, and Wade Tolman, Jr.; stepbrother Michael Whitney; step sister Cheryl Gormley; sister-in-law Katie Ireland; grandparents Sandra Springer, Dick Tolman and Shirley Goodspeed; many special nieces and nephews, Sidnee and Rowan Springer, Zachary and Xandir Springer, Ryleigh Springer, Brookelyn VanAlstyne, Paislee Tolman, Lucas Whitney and Landen Gormley. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Robert "Red" Springer, Sr.
Friends may visit with his family from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd, Lincoln, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m, with the Rev. Scott Taylor officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at
