LINCOLN - Keven B. Priest, 64, of Lincoln, died March 22, 2016, at his home. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, February 28, 1952, the only child of Charlene and Sheldon Priest.
He was predeceased by his father, Sheldon W. Priest; and grandson, Keven Richard Priest. He is survived by his mother, Charlene Priest of Enfield; by his wife, Michelle Priest of 38 years; sons, Keith and Heather Priest of Augusta, Scott Priest of Enfield, Andrew and Tanya Emery of Hampden, and Jeremy and Angela Priest of Lowell; daughter, Shannon and Sidney White of Orrington; grandchildren, Keith-Alan, Maggie, Bradly, Jarrett, Sophia, Evan, Spencer and Elizabeth; and many cousins, aunts, uncles and special friends.
Keven enjoyed his daily meetings with the 3 p.m. McDonald's Coffee Crew. He worked more than 20 years as a mechanic at Cole Whitney Ford. He also worked as a Lincoln Police Officer and as a Penobscot County Correctional Officer. Keven spent more than 10 years as a Scout Master of Troop 50. He had a love for scouting and looked forward to his time at KSR Boy Scout Camp. His 50-mile scouting canoe trip on the Allagash Waterway is a special memory for all that went. Keven loved playing on his computer. He enjoyed tinkering in the shed, fixing things and re-purposing them.
Visiting hours will be held at Clay Funeral Home in Lincoln Friday, March 25, from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, March 26, from 6-8 p.m. A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
