SMYRNA - Kenneth D. Lilley, 92, of Smyrna died November 7th 2015 in Houlton. He was born December 5th 1922 in Crystal, the son of Sidney and Rose (Hafford) Lilley.
He is a veteran of the US Army serving in the 324th infantry division serving in Africa, France, Germany, Austria and in the Anzio Invasion. Ken retired from Bangor and Aroostook Railroad after 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Alma (Clayton) Lilley of Smyrna; two brothers, Frederick and Sylvia Lilley of Brunswick and Sydney Lilley of Turner; two sisters, Addie Russell of St. Francis and Alice McMannus of Smyrna; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside funeral service with full military honors will be held 12 noon Wednesday November 11th at the Smyrna Mills Cemetery with the Reverend Sterling Lawrence officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home Houlton.
