WINDHAM, ME, GREENVILLE, ME AND ELKO, NV - Kenneth Dale Ingalls, 58, died on October 6, 2014, in Elko, NV. He was born in Portland, January 31, 1956, the son of Roderick and Caroline (Pecoraro) Ingalls.
Ken grew up in Windham, and graduated from Windham High School in 1974. He worked at the Sebago Trading Post, which was founded by his parents. Following this, he had many jobs including Bowl-A-While, Prides Corner Bowling Alley, Canteen Vending, SD Warren Paper Mill and Walmart sporting goods. Ken then made the move up north to Moosehead Lake, so he could do more of what he loved; hunting and fishing! There he worked for his uncle at Moose River Construction, Moosehead Cedar Log Homes, and C.N. Brown. In 2010, Ken accepted a position on the pipe line in Elko, NV with Teamsters Union #533, which led to driving a truck for Barrick Gold Corp.
Ken was always upbeat and had an infectious positive attitude. He could put a smile on anyone's face. He loved his family, friends and life in general.
Ken is survived by his son, Erik Ingalls; daughter, Kristen Ingalls; brother, Bryan and his wife, Rachael Ingalls; brother, Glenn Ingalls; niece, Caroline Ingalls. He is predeceased by his parents.
"Ken passed away doing what he loved most, with a deer he just shot at his feet."
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the chapel. Burial will be at the Smith Cemetery, Gray Rd. (Rte. 202) Windham.
