Kennedy's Story

LINCOLN - On Thursday, December 17th, Kennedy Acia Rae White left our world unexpectedly. In her 6 short years she experienced more than most do in a lifetime.

She had such a big spirit and an even bigger smile that captured the hearts of everyone she met along the way. Kennedy was a gift from the powers that be and all who knew her were truly blessed. She was one of a kind, an old soul whose energy could light the world on fire. She was the star of the show, always dancing, laughing and performing, spreading joy to everyone around her. She was little miss independence and extremely strong willed, a warrior from the very beginning. Kennedy was wise beyond her years and taught many lessons in her journey. She loved playing dress up and had a pair of shoes and a hat for every occasion. She had a rock and roll heart and loved her music, always happy to show off her dance moves. Kennedy was also a practical jokester and loved to tease the ones she loved. Words cannot express how very special she was. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those that knew her. Dearest KK, you will be remembered for the gorgeous little girl you were and we're extremely lucky to have had you in our lives. You and your laughs will be missed by so many. Kennedy was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

She is predeceased by her maternal grandfather Richard White and a very special cousin, Jacob Garland.

Kennedy leaves behind her mother Rikki White, her grandparents "Dede" Darcey McQuaid, Papa Lolo, Scott Lowell, Jay and Kari Leonard. Great grandparents Ronald and Jean Twist, Gina Leonard and Hope White. She leaves behind her Uncle Nick Leonard and Aunt Felcia Muncey, also known as "Nick Fel", Rhonda and Bit Vicaire, Leigh and Clyde Garland, Ronni and Rob Pelletier, Casey and Crystal Twist, Sophie Leonard, Joseph Leonard, Suzanne and Kelly Bartell, Ashlee Lowell, Mikayla Lowell and many great aunts and uncles on all sides of the family. Also left behind are several cousins, Colt Vicaire, Chase Vicaire, Tayla and James Pelkey, Tegan & Ethan, Landyn, Logan and Georgie. Her sweetheart Jessica Ashe-Ferguson, a very special friend Bella and her parents Sabrina & Thom Osborne and special friend Sara K.
