GARLAND - Kelvin Lee Hartley, 57, died June 5, 2015 at a Bangor hospital. He was born October 15, 1957 in Dexter, a son of Albert and Marilyn (Towle) Hartley. He graduated from Dexter Regional High School, Class of 1976. Kelvin had many occupations over the years but was happiest with the job he had retired from due to failing health: the cook at Pittston Farms. He was also an avid and well known fly fisherman.
In addition to his parents; and wife of 35 years, Tammy (Haskell) Hartley, he is survived by a son, Chad and significant other, Pam Smith of Garland; 2 daughters, Stacy and husband Fred Gallant of Buxton, Kelly and husband Justin Dent of Millville, PA; his siblings, Kayla Nelson of California, Karl Hartley of Parkman, and Kent Hartley of Dexter; a granddaughter, Terrah Dent; several nieces and nephews; and his great dog Abby.
A graveside committal service will be held at 10 A. M. Saturday, June 20th, at West Garland Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
