Joyce's Story

CORINTH - Joyce L. Stevens peacefully went home to join family members and live eternally with her lord and savior 2/17/2015. She was born 12/3/1938, the first born child of Harry "Roger" and Elinor (Overlock) Stevens. She worked 28 years with Brewer Federal Credit Union. She loved the coast, singing, jamming, playing her Dove guitar, and the music CD she made. She lived many years at Chemo Pond and recently moved to Corinth due to illness to be near her daughter. At the time of her death there were three sets of 5-generations, all girls.

She is survived by her daughter; Rene and her husband Steven DuMont of Corinth and her son Clifton Stevens of Hermon; Grandchildren; Maureen, Jeremy, George, Bert, Benjamin, Hope and Philip. Great-grandchildren; Bethany, Tyee, Cassie, Nia, Jeremy Jr., Makenzie, Audrina, Leah, Elleigh, Luca, Camille. She also leaves many family members and dear friends. Joyce was predeceased by her loving parents, dear sisters; Linda and Janet and her only brother, Harry; Grandson, Christopher and Great-granddaughter, Nyrvanna. Along with her wishes there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring.
