Milford and Millinocket
- Joyce E. Mayhew, 94, passed away peacefully January 15, 2017, with family by her side at Colonial Health Care after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in South Brewer, October 25, 1922, a daughter of Edward and Clarice (Pooler) Brooks.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Walter Edward Mayhew in 1998; a sister, Charlotte DeBeck; and brother, Earl Brooks.
She is survived by son, John Mayhew and his wife, Corrie of Hampstead, NH; daughter, Ruth Ann Morrow and her husband, Rodney of Millinocket; two sisters, Ruth Hackett and her husband, Donald of Milford and Gloria McCartin of Irwin, CA; two granddaughters, Caitlin and Jordan Mayhew of Hampstead, NH; and two grandsons, Christopher Morrow and his wife, Lynn of Nashua, NH and Jason Morrow and his wife, Jen of Taunton, MA; two great-grandsons, Taylor and Collin of Nashua, NH; and a great-granddaughter, Ella Morrow of Taunton, MA; many nieces and nephews.
