Joshua's Story

GREENVILLE - Joshua D W White 25, of Greenville Maine and formerly of Aroostook County passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 27, 2014, as a result of a motor vehicle accident where Joshua was a passenger.

Josh loved being a Dad. Those who knew Josh best knew him as a kind and hardworking young man. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He looked forward to passing that love on to "his boys". Josh gave love freely and was loved by many. Josh found joy and happiness in assisting his neighbors and family in any way he could.

He leaves behind his fiancee, Krista Shockley and two beautiful and energetic boys, Wyatt 3 years old, and Wylder 18 months old. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather Maureen and Norman Veilleux of Greenville, Maine. His father and stepmother Keith and Julie White of Garland, Maine.

He graduated in 2009 from Northern Maine Community College in Presque Isle. He then moved to the Central Maine area and finally settled in Greenville, Maine which enabled him to develop greater family bonds with his parents. Josh worked as a cook at local area restaurants.

He will be deeply missed by his family, but they take comfort in the assurance that he is in a better place with his grandparents and others who have been waiting to welcome him.

A memorial service will be held at the Greenville Methodist Church on Saturday December 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a gift to assist with incurred expenses and provisions for Josh's young children may send what they wish to the care of Maureen Veilleux, PO Box 193, Greenville, Maine.
