Jolene's Story

BANGOR - Jolene "Jeannie" Walton, 60, a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2015, with her family by her side. Jolene was born May 9, 1954, the 3rd child and baby to Karl O. Eaton and Elizabeth (Trask) Eaton.

Jolene was a 1972 graduate of Dexter High School. She was employed at Dexter Shoe, Steegos, Carquest, Automatic Distributors and The Maine Veterans Home to name a few. She worked very hard at many jobs to support her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and extended family. Jolene coached Corinth Little League for a number of years, bringing her team in as #1 more than once. She was an avid Red Sox Fan. She enjoyed playing softball, gardening, fishing and going to camp to be around the people she loved.

Jolene is survived by her son, Troy Dow and wife, Katherine, their children, Gavin, Aidan and Willa; her son, Joseph Walton and his son, Maxwell; her mother, Elizabeth Eaton; sister, Karla Duran and husband, Terry; brother, Greg Eaton and sister-in-law, Kaneen; nephews, Jason Duran and wife, Stacey, their children, Ashton and Addison; Jarrod Duran and wife, Julie, their son, Joshua; Zachary Eaton and friend, Eriel Coulter, her children, Camyrn and Bruce; and niece, Courtney Doyle and husband, Jim, their children, Amanda and Nicholas. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. She was loved and will be missed by many.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
