- John William 'Billy' Lizotte, 75, died peacefully June 13, 2017 at a Fort Kent Health Care Facility. He was born in Fort Kent, November 19, 1941, the son of the late Blanche Desjardins Lizotte Carlson.
Billy attended school in Fort Kent and following graduation enlisted and served with the Maine National Guard until his retirement. He worked first as a parts man for a commercial equipment dealer, then an automotive dealer, and afterwards for the Maine Military Authority in Limestone.
He is survived by his "sister" Leta and husband Peter, "brother", Lee Voisine, nephews; Paul and "Sandra", Mike and "Elsie", grandnephews, Nathan, Connor and Ned. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
In addition to his mother he was predeceased by his Foster Parents Laura and Octave Voisine and by a "brother and sister-in-law" Claude and Albertine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, at the St. Louis Catholic Church. Committal services with full military honors will follow in the parish cemetery.
