Jessie's Story

BUCKSPORT - "Jessie" (Justlin) M. Bidol, of Bucksport & Bradford, Maine, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, March 23, 1939 to Laura P. Baham & John A. Bidol, Sr.

Jessie died March 6, 2016 surrounded, supported & cherished by beloved family and dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents and a beloved & paternal aunt, Lydia M. Bidol.

She is also predeceased by her beloved life partner, soulmate and friend of 34 years, Francis H. Blubaugh of Baltimore, MD (d. 1999).

Jessie is survived by one brother, John A Bidol, Jr. and spouse, Clair R. Bidol; sisters, Joyce B. Evans; Una B. Millet and spouse Nolan J. Millet Sr.; Marguerite B. Johnson and spouse Ellis A Johnson; Merlene B. Walker and spouse Clinard W. Walker, Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, grand and great nieces and nephews, as well as a perennial garden of dearly loved friends and neighbors in the Bucksport community, especially those at Gardner Commons.

Jessie was a Maryknoll Sister (1958-1967) at Maryknoll, NY. In 1973 Fran and Jessie adopted Maine, first living in Bradford together for 34 years. In 2008 Jessie moved to Bucksport embracing and being embraced by another Maine community where she has thrived and prospered. "I am where I am fully present."

Burial will be private at Rainbow's End Green Cemetery, Orrington, ME.
