Jesse's Story

STOCKHOLM AND FORT KENT - Jesse Andrew Bouchard, 24, passed away unexpectedly as a result of an automobile accident, Friday, August 14, 2015. He was born on January 1, 1991, in Fort Kent, the son of Elaine G. Bouchard of Caribou.

Jesse will be remembered for his smile and the love he had for people. He was a member of the Fort Kent Boy Scouts Troop 189 and successfully completed all requirements for Scouting highest rank, and was awarded on Nov. 17, 2008, the rank of Eagle Scout. He was also a first degree black belt in two different styles, successfully passing his tests with Sensei Jim Robinson and with Sensei John Dumond in 2009. He also held a Native American lifetime fishing/hunting license. Jesse enjoyed the tasks of fire watcher for the Wesget Sipu Tribe during the once a year Pow Wow in Fort Kent.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his grandparents, Roger Sr. and Shirley (Marquis) Bouchard of Fort Kent; his uncle, Roger Jr. and wife, Donna Bouchard, of Exeter, ME; two cousins, Madilyn and Corey Bouchard; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends may call Monday, August 17, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday  at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Soldier Pond. Committal services will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. In Jesse's memory, donations may be made to the Fort Kent Boy Scouts, Troop 189, Fort Kent, ME 04743. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
